1. Who we are

Akantos Technology is the trade name of Wagner Farias, an independent professional (sole individual), based in Rio de Janeiro, RJ, Brazil. Contact: contato@akantos.com.br.

2. Using the website

You may browse, read the content, take the assessment and request a call freely. You may not: try to break into or overload the website; access the restricted area without authorisation; copy the website in bulk by automated means; or submit false information or someone else's details without permission.

3. Nature of the information

• Prices shown on the website are reference prices (“from”). The final price, scope and timeline only apply once they appear in an accepted proposal.
• Prices in English and Spanish are converted from Brazilian reais at the day's exchange rate plus a currency margin, so they may vary. Taxes and fees in the client's country are not included unless stated in the proposal.
• The AI assessment is an automatic, informational estimate based on your answers. It is not an audit or a guarantee of results.
• Content about data protection, AI governance and regulation is technical. It is not legal advice and does not replace advice from a lawyer.
• Examples and estimated gains (such as hours freed up or contacts handled) depend on each business and are not a promise of results.

4. Hiring our services

Services are hired through a proposal sent by link and accepted electronically. The proposal sets out the scope, prices, timelines and terms, and prevails over these terms where it is more specific.

We do not guarantee specific business results, such as sales or bookings. AI solutions can produce inaccurate answers; we therefore set up rules, limits and human review, and decisions affecting customers, patients or citizens remain with the client.

6. Intellectual property and licences

The texts, design and the Akantos brand belong to us. You may share links and quote extracts with attribution, but you may not copy the website or use the brand as your own.

We use third-party components under their licences: Lucide icons (ISC licence) and the Inter and Plus Jakarta Sans fonts (SIL Open Font License 1.1). The language flags were drawn for this website.

WhatsApp, Meta, Instagram, Google, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot and other brands mentioned belong to their owners. They are mentioned only to identify the tools we work with and do not imply any partnership or sponsorship.

7. Third-party links and services

The website may link to third-party websites, such as WhatsApp. We do not control them, and each has its own terms and privacy policy.

8. Availability and liability

We do our best to keep the website online and the information accurate, but it may be unavailable for maintenance or because of third-party failures, such as hosting or internet providers. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer protection law gives you.

9. Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use this website, including with a screen reader or keyboard only, following WCAG 2.1 level AA. If you find a barrier, write to contato@akantos.com.br and we will reply with an alternative.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date of the last update appears at the top. Changes do not affect proposals already accepted.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Brazilian law, and the courts of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence or your right to bring a claim in your local courts.
